Party Coordinator

What You’ll Do

As a Party Coordinator for Legendary Parties, you are not only front-line customer service but also in charge of ensuring the party goes off without a hitch! 

Party Coordinator event role overview:

  1. Arrive to company headquarters to pick up the equipment.

  2. Make sure to pack everything needed for the event, referring to the checklist as needed.

  3. Drive to the event and arrive early enough to set up the attraction.  30 minutes before start time is required.

  4. Contact the customer contact to get details on where to set up and where to find needed utilities.

  5. Set up the attraction and make sure its ready to go at start time. Troubleshoot any issues prior to party start-time.

  6. Turn everything on and have fun!  Sit back, enjoy the show, and make sure everything keeps working.  Be ready to jump in if something goes wrong or if any safety issues arise.

  7. Turn off everything at the end of the attraction.

  8. Pack up, clean up if needed.  Touch base with the customer contact to finalize payment if needed.

  9. Return to company headquarters and unpack and organize the equipment for the next person to use.

We train the staff in the party equipment at company headquarters and then once again during live events so the staff can get a real hands-on experience.  Once you're ready, we let you take charge and manage the parties on your own!

Who You Are

You're an outgoing, enthusiastic individual that excels in customer service, working with kids, and can thrive in a fast-paced work environment.  You're reliable and can be counted on to always show up and get the job done with a smile

You are able and willing to lift and set up equipment weighing up to 50lbs.

You have your own reliable transportation with which you can shuttle yourself and the party equipment to and from event locations all over New England.  We primarily operate in Eastern Massachusetts, Southern New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.  Current employees have been able to use their sedans successfully, so you may not need a large vehicle!

You enter your availability on our staff website and then we assign parties to you based on the schedule your provided. You are responsible for updating your availability weekly.  Events happen every day of the week and may be scheduled for mornings, afternoons, evenings, or nights so we can work around most any schedules as long as you are keeping it up to date in our scheduling system.

Compensation

Our most common events are three hour commitments, including travel, and we pay $150.

For longer events or for events with more travel we offer an additional $50/hour.
